上海地下鉄9号線「佘山」駅から、バス57路に乗って20分ほど。
上海市郊外の松江区に、2011年にオープンした「上海辰山植物園」という、総面積207万㎡の大型植物園があります。植物園というより、自然公園というほうが実際のイメージには近いかも。
入場料は60元とちょっと高めに感じますが、一日たっぷり遊べる広さと内容の充実ぶりなので一度は行ってみる価値アリです。
中はとにかく広い！山あり、池あり、滝ありと、かなりの気力がないと、とても一日では回りきれません。

芝生スペースもあちこちに広がっているので、お弁当持参でのんびりもいいですね。

この植物園には、ソメイヨシノもたくさん植えられていて、桜の季節にはお花見も満喫できます。
今年は残念ながら桜のシーズンが終わってしまっていたので、去年この中で撮った写真から1枚。
そして、植物園の中を歩いていると変わったオブジェをあちこちに見かけます。
特に、未来型温室の中は、珍しい花から恐竜やなんだかわからないオブジェまで、見所が目白押しです！
